  If you are looking for a special venue for your special day, you have found it. Pitcairlie is steeped in history and offers a unique venue for a civil wedding ceremony and / or reception. The backdrop of the castle, the lake and the grounds create a stunning setting for wedding photography.

  Pictairlie is centrally located in Fife, just 40 minutes from St Andrews, 45 minutes from Edinburgh and Edinburgh Airport, and 20 minutes from Perth, the gateway to the Highlands. There are many direct rail services from Edinburgh that stop at both Perth and Cupar.

  Pitcairlie House and its grounds in Fife can be used in many ways and this means that we can tailor a wedding package to match your budget.

  Packages start from £1,500.00. Some examples are:

  Package A : Wedding / Civil Partnership Ceremony Only

  - In The House

  The Drawing Room is suitable for small and intimate romantic groups. The maximum number is approximately 56. It can also be used for photographs and the bridal toast with champagne / sparkling wine and canapés in the Oval Dining Room or on the patio.

  Package B : Reception Only

  - The Oval Dining Room in the house is perfect for an intimate wedding breakfast for a group size of 20 or for a buffet, when a larger number can be accommodated. The conservatory can also be used.

  - A marquee can be sited in the groungs for groups of 20 or more with with wonderful backdrops for photographs.

  The cost will vary according to the the menu and wine chosen. Accommodation can also be provided.

  Package C : Ceremony and Reception

  - This combines A and B. A marquee in the grounds can accommodate a large group of up to 200 guests.

  The cost will be tailored individually, depending on your requirements, whether you use the services of a wedding planner or do more of the arrangements yourself, etc. Accommodation, exclusivity, hire of the grounds, etc can all be added.
